1 *Egg
40 g *Caster sugar
1 zeste *Lemon zest
50 g *Butter
3 cl *Milk
100 g *Plain flour
1 tl *Baking powder

Préparation

*Whisk together the egg, sugar and lemon zest in a large bowl until the mixture whitens and becomes frothy.

*Then add the melted butter and milk. Gently fold in the flour and baking powder. Mix gently until the dough is smooth.

*Preheat your appliance.

*Using a teaspoon, shape into balls and place onto the madeleine moulds.

*Check for doneness and restart if necessary.

*Turn out immediately and leave to cool on a wire rack.
